Meet the Director
Tom Martin is the Camp Director. He has been the Head Coach at James Madison University for over 20 years. He has been the CAA, South Atlantic Region and National Coach of the year. Coach Martin holds a USSF "A" coaching license and a NSCAA Advanced National Coaching Diploma.
JMU has developed into a highly recognized nationally ranked program during Coach Martin's tenure. JMU has won either the CAA tournament or regular season seven times, and has received an NCAA tournament bid for five consecutive years and again in 2001. In 1994 and 1995 the Dukes advanced to the quarterfinals. Martin was a two time team MVP on a Davis and Elkins collegiate team which won two national championships.
Martin earned his Master's Degree in Physical Education and his Doctorate in Education from West Virginia University. He has also been on the Virginia Olympic Development Program staff.
